Usha Nadkarni, the veteran actress known for her roles in both Hindi and Marathi cinema, recently opened up about her experience on Bigg Boss Marathi 1, and it wasn't a positive reflection. In a candid conversation, she described her time on the reality show as a "bad experience," going so far as to say that the experience left her feeling like she had "gone mad."

Nadkarni, who rose to prominence with her role as Savita Deshmukh in the popular Hindi television show "Pavitra Rishta," participated in the first season of Bigg Boss Marathi in 2018. While she is known for her portrayal of strong and often villainous characters, her personal experience inside the Bigg Boss house seems to have been quite jarring.

Speaking about her 77 days in the Bigg Boss Marathi house, Nadkarni stated, "Bigg Boss ke voh 77 days, paagal ho gayi thi. Bheje mei keede lagte hai vaha. Baki sabke lagte hai ki nahi malum nahi par mere bheje mei keede lage the (Those 77 days of Bigg Boss, I'd gone mad. Mind gets infected. I don't know about others, but I'd gotten it)." She revealed that the isolation and constant drama within the house took a toll on her mental state.

Adding to her distress, Nadkarni shared a peculiar experience she had upon returning home. She recounted questioning her brother about their hall seeming smaller, a reaction she attributed to having lived in the spacious Bigg Boss house for so long. This disorientation highlights the disorienting and sometimes surreal nature of reality television, where the lines between real life and manufactured drama can blur.

Nadkarni is not the first contestant to express negative sentiments about their time on Bigg Boss. The show, known for its intense environment, constant surveillance, and strategic gameplay, can be emotionally and mentally taxing. Contestants are often cut off from the outside world, forced to live in close quarters with strangers, and subjected to constant challenges and nominations. This pressure-cooker environment can lead to conflicts, emotional breakdowns, and a distorted sense of reality.

Despite the negative experience, Usha Nadkarni remains a respected figure in the entertainment industry. Her career spans several decades, and she has played a variety of memorable roles in films, television shows, and stage productions. Before her stint in Bigg Boss Marathi, she was last seen in the cooking reality show, Celebrity MasterChef. Even after her experience in Bigg Boss Marathi, she entered 'Ghadge And Suun' in 2019. Her willingness to experiment with different platforms and genres speaks to her versatility and enduring appeal.
