Akshay Kumar's 'Kesari Chapter 2,' a historical courtroom drama, is poised to connect with Telugu-speaking audiences as it releases in Telugu-dubbed version on May 23. Asian Suresh Entertainment made the announcement about the film's Telugu release.

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and featuring Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Panday, 'Kesari Chapter 2' delves into the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The film is based on the book "The Case That Shook The Empire" by Raghu and Pushpa Palat, the film portrays the legal battle led by advocate Chettur Sankaran Nair, played by Akshay Kumar, who challenged the British Crown to expose the truth behind the tragic event of 1919. R. Madhavan plays advocate Neville McKinley, and Ananya Panday appears as Dilreet Gill.

The Hindi version of 'Kesari Chapter 2' hit theaters on April 18 and garnered a positive response. Rana Daggubati praised the film, highlighting its powerful storytelling.

However, some reports suggest uncertainty surrounding the Telugu release. According to the Deccan Chronicle, Suneil Narang, a top Telugu distributor and exhibitor, has denied any involvement in releasing the film in Telugu states. Narang clarified that rumors linking them to the film are false. According to a prominent distributor, "The story, which centers on C. Sankaran Nair's legal fight against the British after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, has limited appeal in the Telugu states".

Despite any potential distribution challenges, the Telugu trailer for 'Kesari Chapter 2' has been released, with Akshay Kumar sharing it on his Instagram handle. The trailer release has generated anticipation among Telugu-speaking audiences for the film's release.

Akshay Kumar has several projects lined up, including "Housefull 5," "Jolly LLB 3," "Kanappa," "Bhooth Bangla," "Welcome…To The Jungle," and "Hera Pheri 3".
