Rajisha Vijayan has officially joined the cast of Paul George's highly anticipated pan-Indian action thriller, "Kattalan," starring Antony Varghese (Pepe) in the lead role. The makers of the film, Cubes Entertainments, announced the news on Wednesday, welcoming the Kerala State Award-winning actress to the project.

Rajisha Vijayan, known for her compelling screen presence and versatile performances across South Indian film industries, made a powerful debut with "Anuraga Karikkin Vellam" (2016), earning widespread acclaim and the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress. She has continued to impress in impactful roles in films like "Karnan" (2021), "Jai Bhim" (2021), "June" (2019) and has action thrillers like "Sardar 2", "Bison" and "Kalamkaval" in the pipeline. Cubes Entertainments, on its Instagram page, expressed their excitement in having her as the female lead in "Kattalan".

Following the success of "Marco," producer Shareef Muhammed of Cubes Entertainments is back with this high-octane venture. "Kattalan" promises to be a film designed for audiences across linguistic and regional divides, with a blend of action and thriller elements.

Rajisha joins an ensemble cast that includes rapper Baby Jean, Telugu actor Sunil (of "Pushpa" fame), Kabir Duhan Singh, and seasoned Malayalam actors Jagadeesh and Siddique. The makers of the film have been steadily announcing the cast additions over the past weeks, creating anticipation for the project.

Sunil is known for his versatile acting across genres in blockbusters like "Pushpa: The Rise" (2021), "Pushpa 2" (2024) and "Jailer" (2023). Kabir Duhan Singh is renowned for his intense villain roles, known for his intense screen presence and powerful performances across multiple languages. Baby Jean, with his sensational breakout voice in the Indian rap scene, has already proven his acting skills on screen in "Alappuzha Gymkhana" (2025). Jagadeesh is a veteran actor who has acted in over 400 films, while Siddique brings over 40 years of experience and over 350 films to the project.

The technical crew of "Kattalan" boasts an impressive lineup. Ajaneesh Loknath, known for his work in "Kantara 2," is composing the music. Sharief is handling the choreography, Dhanya Balakrishnan is designing the costumes, and Renadive is in charge of cinematography. Shameer Muhammed is the editor for the film.
