Salman Khan Opens Up About Brain Aneurysm and AV Malformation Diagnosis: A Personal Health Revelation.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has recently revealed that he is battling multiple serious health conditions, including a brain aneurysm and arteriovenous malformations (AVMs). The actor made these revelations during his appearance on "The Great Indian Kapil Show" on Netflix, where he spoke with remarkable composure and even humor about the challenges he faces.

Khan shared that doctors discovered a brain aneurysm, which is being carefully monitored. He underwent an angiography to assess the severity of the blood clot and is scheduled for routine check-ups to evaluate whether further treatment or surgery is necessary. He also mentioned that he is dealing with arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), rare abnormalities where blood vessels are tangled and improperly connected, creating a direct flow from arteries to veins while bypassing normal tissue. AVMs can potentially lead to serious complications if not managed properly.

These recent revelations add to the actor's previous disclosure of his battle with trigeminal neuralgia, a chronic pain condition affecting the trigeminal nerve, which carries sensation from the face to the brain. He has described the pain as being "like being hit with a thousand volts of electricity in your face." Khan underwent surgery in the US to treat trigeminal neuralgia and has been under regular medical care for the condition.

Despite these health challenges, Salman Khan continues to be actively involved in his film career and other ventures. He emphasized his commitment to his work, driven by the philosophy that "the show must go on." He jokingly expressed concerns about how a potential divorce could impact his hard-earned fortune, especially given his dedication to working amidst these health struggles. He stated that he is working at 59 years old despite many health issues and doesn't have it in him to start from scratch anymore, in case the 'wife' decides to take 'half his money.'

In the past, Khan had spoken about the difficulties of dealing with trigeminal neuralgia, revealing that he had been suffering from symptoms since around 2007. He endured severe pain for several years while shooting his movies, before eventually seeking surgery in the United States in 2011. Even with these ongoing health concerns, he remains one of the most popular and sought-after actors in Bollywood. His ability to maintain a demanding work schedule while managing these conditions is a testament to his resilience and dedication.
