Paris Fashion Week is currently making headlines, and among the global celebrities attending the event, Indian music composer AR Rahman is a prominent figure. Rahman has shared exciting moments from the fashion week on his social media, including a collaboration with Pharrell Williams on a song titled "Yaar Punjabi." The song was featured at one of the fashion events in Paris, with Beyonce and Jay-Z seen enjoying the performance.

Rahman also posted a picture with Oscar-winning director Spike Lee, captioning it "at the after party of louisvuitton with the legendary SpikeLee.” This interaction occurred during the Louis Vuitton Men's Spring-Summer 2026 show, where Pharrell Williams presented his collection. The event, held at the Place Georges Pompidou, was transformed into a life-sized game of Snakes and Ladders by architect Bijoy Jain of Studio Mumbai, drawing inspiration from the game's Indian origins.

The Louis Vuitton show was a celebration of Indian craftsmanship and cultural heritage. Rahman's "Yaar Punjabi" provided the background score, blending Punjabi beats with Parisian flair. The event also featured India-inspired bejeweled trunks, and the collection itself included elements of Indian sartorialism.

Many other celebrities attended the Louis Vuitton show, including Bradley Cooper, J-Hope of BTS, and Ishaan Khatter. J-Hope was seen enjoying Rahman's track, further highlighting the cultural crossover at the event.

AR Rahman's son, AR Ameen, also shared a picture with his father and Hans Zimmer, another Oscar-winning music composer, taken backstage at Zimmer's concert in Abu Dhabi. Furthermore, Rahman is set to collaborate with Hans Zimmer on Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana.

Paris Fashion Week, running from June 24 to June 29, will feature 70 fashion designers, with 40 fashion presentations and 30 special events. Rahman's presence and collaboration with Pharrell Williams have added a unique dimension to the event, blending Indian musical influences with high fashion.
