Ektaa Kapoor has also faced controversies related to her web series. Her web series "Triple X-2" sparked controversy for allegedly disrespecting the Indian Army. A scene in the series depicted an army officer's wife insulting his uniform, which led to outrage and accusations of being "anti-national". An FIR was filed against Ektaa Kapoor in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, for allegedly insulting the national emblem, Hindu Gods, and Army personnel in the series. Following the controversy, the scene in question was deleted.

In another instance, Ektaa Kapoor and her mother, Shobha Kapoor, faced legal trouble after being booked under the POCSO Act for allegedly showing inappropriate scenes involving minor girls in an episode of the ALT Balaji web series "Gandi Baat".
