Faisal Khan, the brother of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, has recently made startling claims about his experiences within the film industry and his personal life. In a recent interview, Faisal alleged that he faced rejection from prominent figures like Shah Rukh Khan and Aditya Chopra when he sought opportunities, and recounted a harrowing period where he felt confined and misunderstood.

Faisal Khan's career in Bollywood began with minor roles, including an appearance in his uncle Nasir Hussain's film Pyar Ka Mausam (1969) as a child and a role in his brother Aamir Khan's Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988). He also worked as an assistant director in his father's film, Tum Mere Ho (1990). His first leading role came with the 1994 film Madhosh, which unfortunately didn't fare well at the box office. He later starred alongside his brother Aamir in Mela (2000), which also failed to make a mark.

In a recent Hindi Rush podcast, Faisal revealed a particularly difficult period in his life where he was confined to a mental health ward in JJ Hospital for 20 days. During this time, he felt unheard and desperate, leading him to reach out to various Bollywood stars in the hope that their influence could change his situation. He alleges that he was held captive by his brother and wrongly labeled as schizophrenic.

Faisal claims he sought help from Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aditya Chopra, but his attempts were unsuccessful. He stated that he tried to contact Aditya Chopra at Yash Raj Films and even left a note, but didn't receive an appointment. He also mentioned going to Shah Rukh Khan's residence, Mannat, but was not entertained. Faisal believes that people in the industry were hesitant to assist him due to Aamir Khan's influence. "People never called me 'pagal' to my face, but they must have said it behind my back," Faisal stated.

Adding to his claims, Faisal alleged that he was kept under house arrest for a year by his family and forcefully given medication, based on the assumption that he was suffering from depression and paranoid schizophrenia. He said that he was compelled to leave his home after his family requested him to surrender his signatory rights, which led to a court case. He stated that the court eventually ruled that he was mentally fit.

Despite these past grievances, Faisal attended the wedding of Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan, signaling a possible reconciliation between the brothers. In a conversation with Mukesh Khanna, Faisal mentioned that while he hasn't forgotten his past issues with Aamir, he has chosen to forgive him and move forward.

Faisal has been approached for the reality show Bigg Boss multiple times but has declined, stating that he is a calm person and doesn't like to fight. He mentioned that he had once considered accepting the offer due to financial needs, alleging that Aamir didn't provide him with financial support during his confinement.

Faisal also revealed that there were conflicts between Aamir Khan and the director of Mela, Dharmesh Darshan, which caused delays in the film's release. He claimed that Aamir had asked him to stop filming the movie at one point.

Faisal Khan's journey has been filled with personal and professional challenges. Despite the setbacks, he has continued to pursue his career in the entertainment industry, with recent projects including his directorial debut in the psychological thriller Faactory (2021), for which he also sang a song, and his Kannada film debut with Oppanda (2022).
