Rahul Desai of Film Companion particularly lamented the diminished depth of Dimri's character, especially when compared to her more substantial roles in Bulbbul and Qala.
Triptii herself has acknowledged the wave of negativity she faced after Animal's release. She admitted to being taken aback by the criticism, especially after having experienced mostly positive feedback for her earlier work. The actress revealed that she cried for days and struggled to understand the reasons behind the negativity.
Despite the setbacks, Triptii seems to be back on track with her performance in Dhadak 2, where she stars alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi. The film has been well-received, and Triptii's performance has been praised, signaling a potential "comeback" for the actress.
