On Wednesday, former Bollywood actress and Bigg Boss 18 contestant, Shilpa Shirodkar, was involved in a car accident in Mumbai when a bus collided with her vehicle. The actress took to social media to share the details of the incident, expressing her frustration with the bus company's response.

Shirodkar posted photos of her damaged car on her Instagram account, revealing significant damage. She stated that a "Cityflo" bus ran into her car. According to Shirodkar, when she contacted the Mumbai office of Cityflo, officials allegedly shifted the responsibility onto the driver, refusing to accept any accountability. She called out the bus company for not taking responsibility for the accident.

In her Instagram Story, Shirodkar wrote, "A Cityflo bus ran into my car today. And the people representing the office in Mumbai Mr. Yogesh Kadam and Mr. Vilas Mankote are telling me it's not their company's responsibility, it's the driver's responsibility. How ruthless are these guys? How much can a driver be earning!". She criticized the company for its callous attitude.

Shirodkar also thanked the Mumbai Police for their assistance in filing a police complaint. While she confirmed that she and her staff were unharmed, she expressed concern over what could have happened. "Thanks to @mumbaipolice @cpmumbaipolice, they helped me file a police complaint without much problem. But the company refuses to take any responsibility for the incident. @cityflo.ind appreciate you to connect with me on this matter. Thankfully my staff is fine and unhurt, but anything could have happened," she added.

The accident has sparked concern among fans and colleagues. Many have expressed their relief that Shirodkar and her staff are safe, while also condemning the bus company's alleged lack of responsibility.

Shirodkar, who gained renewed attention after participating in Bigg Boss 18 in 2024, made her acting debut in 1989 and is known for films like "Khuda Gawah" and "Aankhen". Currently, she is involved in the upcoming OTT biopic "Shankar – Revolutionary Man," where she will portray Aryamba, the mother of Adi Shankaracharya.
