Afsana Khan, the voice behind the hit song "Naal Nachna" from the movie Dhurandhar, has revealed that she recorded the song just six to seven days before the film's release. In an exclusive interview, the singer shared her excitement and journey behind the massive success of the song.

"Naal Nachna," sung by Afsana Khan and Reble, with music by Shashwat Sachdev and lyrics by Reble and Irshad Kamil, was released in 2025 as part of the Dhurandhar album. The music video features Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun.

Afsana Khan expressed that she received a call from Shashwat Sachdev, a music director, about doing a song. She agreed and sent the recording in a short time frame, approximately six days before the movie's release.

In the interview, Afsana also reflected on her journey, including her early days as a Rising Star. She recalled a time when she didn't have money and had to ask the channel for flight tickets to Mumbai, often traveling by train instead. Today, she acknowledges how much things have changed. She is grateful for the opportunities she has and enjoys making decisions about her life.

Khan also shared her admiration for Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, praising their work in Dhurandhar. She also mentioned that she and her husband enjoy recreating Khanna's dance steps at home.

When asked about her favorite songs, Afsana listed "Mera Yaar," "Mera Titliaan Warga," and "Mera Koyi See," in addition to "Naal Nachna". She also expressed her desire to make her mark in every music industry, including Hollywood. She said that she is manifesting her dreams of becoming the number one and most expensive artist in India.

Afsana believes that challenges are a part of life and that one should learn to survive and stay strong. She emphasized the importance of listening to one's inner voice and doing what feels right. She also spoke about the love she receives from audiences in Delhi, Gujarat, Mumbai, and Punjab.

Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, is reportedly performing well at the box office. Singh plays an undercover Indian spy named Hamza Ali Mazari, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi. The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande's Jio Studios and B62 Studios, with a sequel planned for release on March 19, 2026.
