Following India's "Operation Sindoor," a series of targeted strikes against terrorist camps in Pakistan, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has publicly applauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and the bravery of the Indian Armed Forces. Kalyan's statement reflects a widespread sentiment of national unity and support for the government's decisive action against terrorism.

Operation Sindoor was launched in response to the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam that resulted in the deaths of 25 Indian civilians and one Nepali national. The operation involved precision strikes on nine terror sites across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The Ministry of Defence confirmed that surface-to-surface missiles were used to target terrorist infrastructure. Pawan Kalyan expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and the armed forces for their unwavering support and precise execution of Operation Sindoor. He lauded the armed forces for rekindling the spirit of valor across the nation. Kalyan took to social media platform X to share his sentiments, posting a note in Hindi that praised the courage and leadership demonstrated during the operation. He emphasized the importance of national unity during this critical time and cautioned against anti-national activities, particularly on social media. He also recommended that the Andhra Pradesh DGP take strict action against comments undermining the armed forces or national integrity.

In addition to expressing his support, Pawan Kalyan called for prayers at temples across Andhra Pradesh and beyond to invoke divine blessings for the Indian Army and Prime Minister Modi. Special worship services were held at various temples, with Jana Sena Party members participating in the prayers. Kalyan also encouraged members of other faiths to offer prayers in their respective places of worship.

Furthermore, Kalyan has demonstrated his support through personal gestures, including providing financial assistance to orphans in his constituency. He committed a total of Rs. 2,10,000 from his salary to provide financial assistance of Rs. 5,000 each to 42 orphans from the constituency.
