"Stolen," executive produced by Anurag Kashyap and Kiran Rao, and starring Abhishek Banerjee, is a crime thriller set to release on June 4, 2025, on Prime Video. Directed by Karan Tejpal, who marks his directorial debut with this film, "Stolen" had its world premiere at the 80th Venice Film Festival in 2023, where it garnered significant attention. The film is produced by Gaurav Dhingra.

The film follows two brothers, Gautam (Abhishek Banerjee) and Raman (Subham Vardhan), who witness the kidnapping of a child at a railway station in rural India. The brothers soon find themselves embroiled in a deadly chase after a case of mistaken identity pulls them into the investigation. The film promises a thrilling narrative with a humane core, blending suspense with an emotional depth.

"Stolen" has already garnered critical acclaim, winning a special mention at the Zurich Film Festival. It also enjoyed a stellar run on the international festival circuit, securing awards such as Best Director, Best Cinematography, and Best Female Actor at the Beijing International Film Festival, as well as Best Film and Best Director at Japan's Skip City International D-Cinema Festival. In India, the film was well-received at the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival and the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK).

Kiran Rao describes "Stolen" as a rare film that combines thrilling narrative tension with a deeply humane core. Anurag Kashyap calls it strong, unflinching, relentless, and emotionally raw. Nikkhil Advani appreciates the film's ability to challenge convention and spark conversation, while Vikramaditya Motwane lauds its sharp narrative and emotional depth.

Abhishek Banerjee, known for his versatile performances in "Paatal Lok" and "Mirzapur," brings a raw vulnerability and intensity to his role in "Stolen." The film also features Mia Maelzer, Harish Khanna, and Sahidur Rahaman.
