The Gaddar Telangana Film Awards for 2024, named after the late poet and singer Gummadi Vittal Rao, also known as Gaddar, were announced in Hyderabad on Thursday, marking a return after a 14-year hiatus. The awards ceremony, held on June 14, 2025, celebrated the best of Telugu cinema and talent.

Allu Arjun was awarded Best Actor for his performance in "Pushpa 2." He dedicated the award to his fans, director Sukumar, and the entire "Pushpa" team. Nivetha Thomas won Best Actress for her role in "35 Chinna Katha Kaadu." Allu Arjun expressed his gratitude on X, acknowledging the Telangana government for the honor and the unwavering support of his fans.

The event was graced by Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who presented the Best Actor trophy to Allu Arjun. This moment was particularly significant, considering the differences between the actor and the CM following a stampede incident at the "Pushpa 2" premiere in December 2024. During the event, CM Reddy put aside past issues and asked Allu Arjun to partner with the State government. Allu Arjun also delivered the film's iconic "Thaggede Le" dialogue.

Several other films and artists were recognized at the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2024. "Kalki 2898 AD" was awarded First Best Feature Film, with director Nag Ashwin receiving the Best Director award. "Pottel" secured the Second Best Feature Film award, while "Lucky Baskhar" was named Third Best Feature Film. "Committee Kurrollu" won the Feature Film on National Integration, Communal Harmony, Social Uplift of Depressed Classes. The award for Best Children's Film went to "35 Chinna Katha Kaadu," and "Razakar" was recognized as the Feature Film on Environment/Heritage/History. "Aay.. Mem Friends Andi" received the Dr M Prabhaker Reddy Uttama Prajadarana Chitram award for Best Wholesome Entertainment Film.

In the music category, Bheems Ceciroleo was awarded Best Music Director for "Razakar," Sid Sriram won Best Male Playback Singer for the song "Nizame Ne Chebutunna" from "Ooru Peru Bhairavakona," and Shreya Ghoshal was named Best Female Playback Singer for the song "Suseti Aggi Ravva" from "Pushpa 2."

The awards also recognized talent in supporting roles and comedy. S. J. Surya won Best Supporting Actor for "Saripoda Sanivaram," while Saranya Pradeep was awarded Best Supporting Actress for "Ambajipeta Marriage Band." The Best Comedian award was shared by Sri Satya and Sri Vennela Kishore for "Mattu Vadalara 2."

Several Special Jury Awards were also presented. Dulquer Salmaan received a Special Jury Award for "Lucky Baskhar," Ananya Nagalla for "Pottel," Sri Sujith and Sri Sandeep for "Ka," and Prashanth Reddy and Rajesh Kallepally for "Raju Yadav." Faria Abdullah received a Jury Special Mention for the "Rap Song" from "Mattu Vadalara - 2."

The jury was headed by veteran actress Jayasudha. Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC) chairman Dil Raju also presided over the ceremony. Jayasudha said it was a relief to organize these awards after 14 years and Dil Raju announced that the award recipients for the years 2014 to 2023 would be announced soon.
