With Suga's discharge from South Korea's mandatory military service on June 21, 2025, all seven members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook—have now completed their national service duties. The members enlisted at different times, beginning with Jin, the oldest, in December 2022. J-Hope followed in April 2023, and Suga began his alternative service as a social service agent in September 2023 due to a past shoulder surgery. RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook all enlisted in December 2023. Jin was discharged in June 2024, followed by J-Hope in October 2024, RM and V on June 10, 2025, and Jimin and Jung Kook on June 11, 2025.
Suga, the last member to be discharged, served as a social service agent, an alternative form of military service, and completed his service duties on June 18, 2025, after using his remaining leave days, with his official discharge date on June 21. Big Hit Entertainment did not organize any public event for Suga's release, citing concerns about overcrowding.
