Kiara Advani is all set to ignite the screen in War 2, and her first look is already generating immense buzz. The actress is seen wielding a gun, exuding a fierce and commanding presence that hints at the action-packed role she's about to portray.

The makers of War 2 recently unveiled the first-look posters of the film's stellar cast, including Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, alongside Kiara Advani. These posters showcase the actors in fierce avatars, promising a high-octane action thriller. The movie is slated to hit theaters on August 14, 2025.

Advani has described War 2 as a project filled with many "firsts" for her. Not only is this her first collaboration with Yash Raj Films (YRF), but it also marks her first foray into the action genre. The film also brings her together with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR for the first time, under the direction of Ayan Mukerji.

Adding to the excitement, the teaser of War 2 features Advani in what she playfully calls her "first bikini shot." The brief glimpse of her in a metallic bikini by the poolside has already gone viral, further fueling anticipation for the film. The teaser also offers a peek at a romantic dance sequence between Advani and Hrithik Roshan, showcasing a different facet of her character.

The War 2 teaser is packed with high-octane action sequences, including explosions, gunshots, hand-to-hand combats, and a sword fight scene featuring Hrithik Roshan. Jr NTR is introduced as the antagonist, pitted against Hrithik Roshan's character, RAW agent Major Kabir Dhilawal. The teaser culminates in an intense face-off between Hrithik and NTR, with both actors throwing punches at each other.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, War 2 is a sequel to the 2019 action-thriller War, directed by Siddharth Anand. The original film featured Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. War 2 is part of YRF's expanding spy universe, which includes Pathaan and the Tiger franchise, all interconnected spin-offs with overlapping storylines.

Prior to the release of the first look and teaser, there was considerable excitement surrounding the filming of a romantic song featuring Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani in Italy. The schedule was reported to have commenced in September 2024 and lasted approximately 15 days, with filming taking place across picturesque locations such as Venice, Tuscany, Lake Como, Naples, Amalfi Coast, and Sorrento Peninsula. Following the song shoot, the team reportedly worked on high-octane action sequences and dramatic scenes before returning to India.
