He praised Haasan's exceptional command over every aspect of filmmaking, including writing, singing, directing, and producing. Kalyan stated that Haasan's influence extends far beyond national boundaries and hailed him as a "true master of the craft". He extended his heartfelt congratulations and wished Haasan many more years of impactful service to world cinema.

Kamal Haasan's invitation to join the Academy is a moment of pride for the Indian film industry. He has been selected as a member of the prestigious Academy Awards 2025 committee.
