The entertainment industry is in mourning following the sudden demise of actress and model Shefali Jariwala, who passed away at the age of 42. Best known for her appearance in the hit music video "Kaanta Laga" in the early 2000s, and her stint on Bigg Boss 13, Jariwala’s death has sent shockwaves through the industry.

Reports indicate that Shefali Jariwala was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai on Friday night by her husband, Parag Tyagi, and three others after suffering a cardiac arrest. She was declared dead on arrival.

Priyanka Chopra, who worked with Shefali Jariwala in the 2004 film "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi," has expressed her shock and sorrow. Taking to Instagram Stories, Chopra shared a picture of Shefali and wrote, "So shook. She was too young. Sending condolences to Parag and family".

Shefali Jariwala's sudden death has prompted an outpouring of grief and tributes from fans and colleagues. Many have expressed their disbelief and sadness at the loss of the vibrant actress. Visuals from her last rites at Oshiwara crematorium have surfaced online, showing her mother and family members in deep sorrow. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, was also seen carrying her ashes for immersion.

Shefali’s friend told the media that Shefali was actively doing her events and shows and used to travel quite often for work both out of India and in the country too.

While initial reports suggested cardiac arrest as the cause of death, the exact cause is still unconfirmed. A post-mortem examination has been conducted at Cooper Hospital, but doctors have reserved their opinion pending forensic analysis. Police have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death. Preliminary information suggests a natural death, but authorities are not ruling out any possibilities until the final reports are received.

Some reports have emerged suggesting that Shefali Jariwala was on a regular dose of anti-aging medicines for 6-7 years, which may have triggered heart issues leading to cardiac arrest. According to reports, on June 27, Shefali received her routine injection for anti-aging treatments, which led to a sudden deterioration of her health.

Shefali Jariwala began her career with the bang in the early 2000s with the music video "Kaanta Laga". The song became a massive hit, and she earned the nickname "Kaanta Laga Girl". She subsequently appeared in films like "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" and several reality shows, including "Nach Baliye" and "Bigg Boss 13".

Her last rites were performed at Oshiwara Hindu crematorium, with family, friends, and colleagues in attendance. Parag Tyagi, along with Shefali's father and sister, performed the final rituals.
