Veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai has announced his next project, playfully revealing Riteish Deshmukh as the lead, or rather, "heroine". Ghai shared a picture on Instagram of Riteish dressed as a woman, sparking excitement and curiosity among fans.

The picture appears to be from the 2006 comedy film 'Apna Sapna Money Money', where Riteish essayed the role of a conman and cross-dressed as part of his act. Ghai captioned the photo, "She is our next heroine in our forthcoming film under Mukta Arts. A classic beauty. Can u guess the name of this beautiful girl?". This has led to speculation that Riteish may be revisiting a similar character in the new film.

'Apna Sapna Money Money' featured Riteish Deshmukh as Kishan, a young man known for his quick-money schemes and disguises, including the character of Sania. The film, produced by Subhash Ghai, also starred Suniel Shetty, Shreyas Talpade, Celina Jaitly and others.

While Ghai has not revealed specific details about the film's plot or character, the announcement has generated considerable buzz. Fans are eager to see Riteish Deshmukh in a female avatar again, reminiscent of his iconic role in 'Apna Sapna Money Money'. This isn't the only time Riteish has played a female character, as he also donned similar disguises in the film 'Humshakals'.

Subhash Ghai is known for films such as 'Karz', 'Hero', 'Taal', and 'Ram Lakhan'. His production house, Mukta Arts, has a history of introducing fresh talent to the industry. Ghai has previously lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts to develop the country and change people's mindsets for the nation's holistic development. He recalled his film 'Kanchi' from 11 years ago, where he envisioned a better India.
