The pre-release event for Pawan Kalyan's highly anticipated film, "Hari Hara Veera Mallu – Part 1: Sword vs Spirit," took place on July 21, 2025, in Hyderabad, marking a major promotional push before its theatrical release on July 24, 2025. The day was packed with activity, commencing with a press conference in the morning and culminating in a grand public event in the evening.

Pawan Kalyan started the day by addressing the media at 10 AM at Park Hyatt, Hyderabad. This press meet was particularly significant as it marked his return to movie-related press conferences after a gap of nine years. The interaction covered the film's production journey, its thematic backdrop, and the challenges encountered during its making. Fans were especially grateful to producer A.M. Rathnam for making the appearance happen, as they eagerly awaited Kalyan's insights on the film.

Later in the evening, the pre-release event was held at Shilpakala Vedika, starting at 6 PM. The event was graced by prominent political figures and film personalities. The guest list included ministers from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka, along with acclaimed directors such as SS Rajamouli and Trivikram Srinivas. Strict protocols were followed during the event. The pre-release event was also streamed live on the official YouTube page of the production house.

"Hari Hara Veera Mallu," a Telugu period action-adventure film, has faced a long and complex production timeline. Initially announced in January 2020, the project encountered multiple delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Pawan Kalyan's political commitments. Filming began in September 2020 but was only wrapped up in May 2025. The film was initially directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and later completed under the direction of A. M. Jyothi Krishna.

Set in the 17th-century Mughal era, "Hari Hara Veera Mallu" narrates the story of Veera Mallu, a heroic outlaw who rebels against imperial tyranny. The film is a pan-Indian historical action drama. Paid premieres are scheduled across India on the night of July 23, reflecting the makers' confidence in the film's content.
