Apurva Agnihotri is set to return to television in a significant role in Colors TV's upcoming show, "Seher Hone Ko Hai". The drama, produced by Richa Yamini under her banner Icecream Dreams in collaboration with Aarambh Entertainment, will feature Agnihotri as Dr. Farid, a respected doctor in Lucknow.
Agnihotri, last seen on screen in "Anupamaa" as Dr. Advait Khanna, has confirmed his involvement in the new project. He describes Dr. Farid as a dignified and brilliant doctor who faces personal struggles and whose path will cross with the characters Mahid, Kausar, and Sehar.
"Seher Hone Ko Hai" is described as a heart-wrenching story centered around a mother and daughter, told from the mother's perspective. Mahhi Vij makes her return to television after nine years as the mother, while newcomer Rishita Kothari will play her daughter, who is cast opposite Parth Samthaan. Senior actor Deepak Qazir is also set to play a vital role in the show.
Richa Yamini, known for her work as a creative producer and writer on shows like "Bidaai" and "Meri Durga", is making her debut as a producer with "Seher Hone Ko Hai". The show has a Muslim backdrop.
