Prashanth Neel Praises Rajamouli as Baahubali Returns: A Dream Come True on the Big Screen.

As "Baahubali: The Epic" makes its return to theaters, director Prashanth Neel has lauded S.S. Rajamouli for his groundbreaking vision and impact on Indian cinema. The remastered single-film version of the epic saga is being released in cinemas across multiple languages and formats.

Neel expressed his admiration for Rajamouli's work on social media, acknowledging the "Baahubali" franchise's significant role in paving the way for Indian filmmakers. In a statement accompanying a poster of "Baahubali: The Epic," Neel compared Rajamouli to a contractor who didn't just fix a road but transformed it into a "16-lane super express highway". He declared that this road is "Pan India," crediting Rajamouli with its creation. Neel extended his congratulations to the entire "Baahubali" team for their magnificence and thanked them for "dreaming for an entire generation".

"Baahubali: The Epic" is a reimagined edition that unites both parts of the "Baahubali" saga into one grand narrative. To celebrate ten years of the phenomenon, the makers have unveiled 'Baahubali: The Epic' – a grand fusion of 'The Beginning' and 'The Conclusion'. The re-release boasts upgraded visuals, restored or previously unseen scenes, and selective edits designed to enhance the viewing experience. Fans can enjoy the film in various premium formats, including IMAX, 4DX, D-Box, Dolby Cinema, and EPIQ. It is available in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam, ensuring accessibility for a wide audience across India.

The original "Baahubali" films, "Baahubali: The Beginning" and "Baahubali: The Conclusion," achieved immense success and redefined Indian cinema on a global scale. Rajamouli's vision inspired a new generation of Indian filmmakers to embrace larger-than-life narratives and dream big. The producer of Baahubali, Shobu Yarlagadda, mentioned that the inspiration for the film came from "Ramayana", "Mahabharata" and Amar Chitra Katha.

"Baahubali: The Epic" has already garnered an enthusiastic response, with fans eager to relive the grandeur on the big screen. According to pre-sales, the film has collected ₹10 crore worldwide and has surpassed the collections of all re-releases, emerging as the highest-grossing film for a re-release. Trade analysts predict that the film could potentially breach the ₹100 crore mark.
