George Clooney recently shared insights into his marriage with Amal, revealing a surprising aspect of their relationship: they have never had an argument. In a recent interview with CBS News, the 64-year-old actor explained that his perspective on disagreements has shifted as he's gotten older.

Clooney, who has been married to the human rights lawyer Amal since 2014, stated that when he was younger, he felt the need to be right about everything. However, he has come to a point in his life where he doesn't feel the need to argue over minor issues. He illustrated this with an example: "If she wants to paint the wall red, I don't care".

He emphasized that they have "a really amazing relationship" because they are supportive of each other. He added that he used to "stick [his] chest out" about things, but now he can let go and realize, "It doesn't matter, I don't care".

In an interview this past April with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, Clooney said that he and Amal were "trying to find something to fight about". He began dating Amal in the summer of 2013, when he was 52.

Clooney also touched upon how becoming parents to their twins, Alexander and Ella, who are now eight years old, has changed their priorities. He mentioned that he and Amal have stopped visiting dangerous places. He used to enjoy going to war zones, but now they have had to make decisions not to do that since having children.

Clooney had also shared that the family lives on a farm in France so that their children could have a "fair shake" at life. He told Esquire magazine that his kids are not always on their iPads, and they have dinner with grown-ups.
