Deepika Padukone's Marriage Wish to Bhansali and Salman Khan's Doubtful Reaction: A Bollywood Tale.

During an appearance on Bigg Boss 11, Deepika Padukone playfully stated she would marry filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali when given the choice between Bhansali, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor in a "Date, Marry, or Kill" game, leaving host Salman Khan and the audience surprised. Khan, known for his quick wit, immediately responded that such a marriage "Chalegi Nahi" (would not work), creating a humorous moment.

Padukone's surprising answer and Khan's reaction resurfaced recently, sparking renewed interest in the interaction. At the time of the show, Padukone and Ranveer Singh were already a couple, having reportedly started dating after working together in Bhansali's 2013 film, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. She picked Ranveer Singh to date and Shahid Kapoor to kill, because he was married to Mira Rajput Kapoor. Deepika and Ranveer married in 2018.

The actress has delivered memorable performances in Bhansali's films, including Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Their collaborations have been critically and commercially successful, showcasing the actress's versatility and the director's grand cinematic vision.

Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's professional relationship has seen its share of ups and downs. Bhansali was reportedly in a relationship with choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant. Bhansali mentioned in an interview in 2012 that he had never fallen in love. There were reports of a fallout between Khan and Bhansali when Bhansali cast Shah Rukh Khan instead of Salman in Devdas. Later, when Bhansali didn't cast Salman in Guzaarish, after gifting him the DVD of the movie 'The Prestige', it apparently hurt Salman's ego. However, there have been hints and speculations about a possible reunion between Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a future film.
