Kangana Ranaut has once again brought to the forefront an old controversy involving Aditya Chopra and her decision to decline a role in Salman Khan's film, Sultan. The actress claims that her refusal led to a threatening message from Chopra, suggesting her career was "finished."

According to Ranaut, the incident unfolded after she was approached for Sultan. Following the script narration by the director at her home, she arranged a meeting with Aditya Chopra to personally convey her apologies for turning down the offer. Initially, she says, Chopra seemed understanding. However, the situation took a turn when news outlets reported Kangana's rejection of Sultan.

Ranaut alleges that Chopra sent her an angry message, expressing his displeasure at her decision. The message, as she recounts, included a statement that her career was "finished" for daring to refuse his offer. This isn't the first time Ranaut has spoken about this alleged incident.

Ranaut has been vocal about her career choices, often highlighting her preference for roles that offer substantial creative input and avoid being overshadowed by male leads. She has stated that her decisions are conscious ones, driven by the desire to deliver meaningful performances that resonate with her audience. In previous interviews, Ranaut has addressed the topic of refusing films with major stars, emphasizing her focus on roles that provide her with creative fulfillment. She has mentioned that films where she collaborated with established stars did not perform well at the box office.

It's worth noting that Kangana Ranaut's career has been marked by both critical acclaim and controversies. She has received numerous awards for her performances in films like Queen, Tanu Weds Manu, and Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. However, she has also been involved in several public disputes with other Bollywood personalities. Aditya Chopra, on the other hand, is known for his work as a director and producer at Yash Raj Films, a major production house in the Indian film industry. He has directed iconic films and has been instrumental in shaping the careers of many Bollywood actors.

The actress has also said that she doesn't regret leaving Sultan even for that matter. When a film comes to you, you know if they will do business unlike they are Queen which became a sleeper hit. It's such a beautiful phase of my life. Life isn't a bed of roses," she said. Incidentally, it was also reported recently that Kangana Ranaut had once again said no to Aditya Chopra for Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs Of Hindostan. According to the reports, Kangana did not want to do the film as she didn't have much to do as the actors. So, the role eventually went to Katrina Kaif.
