Subhash Ghai launched Jackie Shroff in the 1983 film "Hero," which became a blockbuster and cemented Jackie's status as a leading man in Bollywood. Ghai also worked with Kartik Aaryan early in his career, directing him in the 2014 film "Kaanchi: The Unbreakable".

Kartik Aaryan also recently welcomed Jackie Shroff to the cast of "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri", referring to him as the "OG Hero". "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri" also stars Ananya Panday, marking her second collaboration with Kartik Aaryan after "Pati Patni Aur Woh" (2019). The movie is directed by Sameer Vidwans and is currently being filmed in Rajasthan, following a month-long shooting schedule in Croatia. Kartik shared updates from the Croatia shoot on Instagram, expressing his excitement about the project.

The film is backed by a strong production team including Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora. It is scheduled for release on February 13, 2026, potentially making it a Valentine's Day weekend hit.

Besides "Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri," Kartik Aaryan has also signed on for "NaagZilla," another project with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. In this film, he will portray a shape-shifting character named Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand.
