Ananditha had the opportunity to work as an assistant director on "Thug Life" for a brief period. Unfortunately, her time on the film was cut short due to an ankle fracture.

Despite her abbreviated involvement, Mani Ratnam ensured that Ananditha's contribution was recognized. Khushbu, also a producer, emphasized the value of the experience her daughter gained. She noted that the knowledge and lessons Ananditha learned from Mani Ratnam would be invaluable and long-lasting.

Ananditha responded to her mother's post with a playful comment about her clumsiness.
