The high-octane spy thriller, directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Yash Raj Films, marks Jr NTR's highly anticipated Bollywood debut, and excitement surrounding the project is immense.

Sources confirm that Jr NTR is in Mumbai specifically to participate in this last leg of filming. Production had experienced a temporary setback due to an injury sustained by Hrithik Roshan a few months prior. In addition to filming, Jr NTR has also completed dubbing his lines, indicating that post-production is well underway as the team races towards the film's release.

War 2 is slated for a massive multilingual release on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil, perfectly timed for the Independence Day weekend. The film is the second installment in the War franchise and the sixth film in the YRF Spy Universe, following the success of Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3.
