Sanvikaa, who plays Rinki in the popular Amazon Prime Video series Panchayat, has recently opened up about a scene in the upcoming season 4 that involved a kiss with Jitendra Kumar, who plays Abhishek Tripathi, also known as Sachiv Ji.

According to Sanvikaa, the script initially included a kissing scene between Rinki and Sachiv Ji. The scene was planned to take place in a car, with Rinki falling and then sharing a kiss with Abhishek. However, Sanvikaa confessed that she felt uncomfortable with the idea of a kissing scene, considering the show's wide family audience. She was concerned about how the audience would react to it. Respecting her concerns, the makers of Panchayat decided to revise the script and replace the kissing scene with another sequence.

Speaking about the change, Sanvikaa mentioned that while the kissing scene was removed, another scene was added where Rinki and Abhishek come close to each other near a water tank. Even during the filming of this alternative scene, she felt a bit awkward. However, she praised Jitendra Kumar for being very supportive and making her feel comfortable on set. She also added that the scene was shot in a way that it appeared as if they were about to kiss, without actually doing so.

In an interview with Zoom, Sanvikaa shared insights into her off-screen relationship with Jitendra Kumar. She revealed that they don't talk much when the cameras aren't rolling, but they share a good understanding. She also mentioned that Jitendra Kumar guides her and they often discuss their careers. Sanvikaa expressed immense respect for Jitendra Kumar, emphasizing that their on-set interactions are mostly limited to discussions about their scenes.

Panchayat is a comedy-drama series that revolves around Abhishek Tripathi, an engineering graduate who reluctantly takes up a job as a Panchayat secretary in the village of Phulera. The show captures his struggles and experiences as he adjusts to rural life. Rinki is the daughter of the Pradhan (village head). Her budding romance with Abhishek is a significant part of the storyline.

The fourth season of Panchayat premiered on Amazon Prime Video on June 24. Sanvikaa's portrayal of Rinki has been praised, with one critic noting her charming presence and the softness she brings to the character. While some viewers felt that the chemistry between Abhishek and Rinki lacked intensity this season, their sweet romantic moments added balance to the narrative.
