Shortly after, Chahal was spotted with RJ Mahvash at the ICC Champions Trophy final, further fueling the rumors.

Adding fuel to the fire, Yuzvendra was seen with RJ Mahvash in Andheri a day before his divorce hearing in Bandra Court, Mumbai on March 20, 2025.

While neither Chahal nor Mahvash have explicitly confirmed a romantic relationship, their public appearances and social media interactions have kept the rumor mill running. Mahvash has been seen supporting Chahal during IPL matches, even when he was sidelined due to injury. They have also been spotted together at public events, dinners, and on vacations, with Mahvash often posting appreciative messages on social media. The two also recently collaborated on an advertisement.

The rumors reached a boiling point during a recent episode of "The Great Indian Kapil Show" on Netflix. When questioned about the "mystery girl," Chahal responded, "India jaan chuka hai" which translates to "India already knows". Fellow cricketer Rishabh Pant, who was also on the show, chimed in, calling Chahal a "free man" now, in reference to his divorce. Comedian Krushna Abhishek further teased Chahal about his social media posts with Mahvash, hinting at a romantic connection. Kiku Sharda added to the banter by pretending to find a lipstick mark on Chahal's shirt and jokingly asking who it belonged to, prompting Chahal's ambiguous response.

However, RJ Mahvash has stated that she is single and clarified that she is not in a relationship. In a podcast, Mahvash stated that she doesn't understand the concept of marriage and would only date someone she intends to marry. She said that she doesn't go on casual dates. Mahvash also revealed that she was previously engaged at 19 but ended the relationship at 21. She shared that she wants to live a normal life away from social media attention, and that the trolls have affected her.
