"Maareesan," directed by Sudheesh Sankar and written by V Krishna Moorthy, features Fahadh Faasil as a thief named Dhaya who targets Velayudham, an elderly man with Alzheimer's, played by Vadivelu. Dhaya discovers that Velayudham has a significant amount of money but struggles to remember his ATM pin. The story takes an unexpected turn when Velayudham decides to visit a friend in Thiruvannamalai, and Dhaya offers to take him there, seeing it as an opportunity to steal the money.
