Alia Bhatt was recently spotted at Mumbai's Kalina airport with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, their daughter, Raha, and filmmaker Karan Johar. The family was returning from what appeared to be a quiet getaway after celebrating Diwali with family and friends.
As the couple exited their car with Raha, they were immediately surrounded by paparazzi. Consistent with their established media policy, Alia Bhatt shielded Raha's face from the cameras. This action reflects the couple's ongoing efforts to protect their daughter's privacy. Ranbir Kapoor, however, greeted the paparazzi with a smile and a wave before entering the airport terminal.
Alia sported a simple yet chic look, wearing a white tank top and sunglasses. Ranbir complemented her casual style in a denim jacket over a plain white T-shirt, paired with a cap.
The couple has been protective of Raha since her birth in November 2022. They initially refrained from revealing her face to the public for over a year. Even when paparazzi managed to capture glimpses of Raha, the couple requested them not to publish the photos or videos, or to use emoticons to cover her face. Following a robbery attempt at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's residence earlier this year, where their son Jeh was targeted, both couples have become even more vigilant about their children's public exposure. Alia even removed all pictures of Raha from her social media accounts.
The internet buzzed when Alia and Ranbir finally revealed Raha's face during the Kapoor family's Christmas party in December 2023. The photos went viral, with many noting the resemblance between Raha and her paternal grandfather, Rishi Kapoor.
In other news, Karan Johar is reportedly "hurt" by Ibrahim Ali Khan's candid admission that his debut film, 'Nadaaniyan,' was "really bad". Despite this, Khan is moving forward with his theatrical debut in 'Diler'.
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt will be seen in "Alpha", set to release on December 25th. Ranbir Kapoor is preparing for his role as Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's "Ramayana".
