Riding 'Ek Deewane' wave, Harshvardhan Rane lands 'Force 3' with a hefty Rs 15 crore paycheck.

Harshvardhan Rane, riding high on the success of his recent film Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, has reportedly signed on to star in John Abraham's Force 3. According to reports, Rane will be paid approximately Rs 15 crore for his role in the action-packed sequel.

The news, which has generated considerable buzz among fans, was revealed by Rane himself via an Instagram post. In the post, he shared a photo of himself at the Trimbakeshwar Temple in Maharashtra, dressed in traditional attire, with the caption, "John Abraham locks Harshvardhan Rane for taking FORCE franchise forward, under him". He also expressed his gratitude to Abraham, referring to him as an "angel of a man". Filming is expected to commence in March 2026.

Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, a romantic drama co-starring Sonam Bajwa, has proven to be a significant box office success. Despite clashing with other major releases, the film has earned over Rs 70 crore in India and has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide. This success has solidified Rane's position as a bankable star, with industry insiders noting his ability to draw audiences even amidst tough competition.

An industry insider stated, "Harsh has proven that he can draw strong audiences even at a time when many big stars are struggling to. He has a deeply loyal fan base. Producers clearly feel secure investing big money on him". Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat opened at Rs 10.10 crore on its first day and collected Rs 58.08 crore at the end of week one. The film was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 25 crore and has already become a huge hit in terms of return on investment.

Force 3 is the third installment in the Force franchise, known for its high-octane action and patriotic themes. The first film, Force, was released in 2011, directed by Nishikant Kamat, and starred John Abraham and Genelia D'Souza. Force 2, directed by Abhinay Deo, followed in 2016, with Sonakshi Sinha joining Abraham. Bhav Dhulia will direct Force 3. Meenaakshi Chaudhary has been cast opposite John Abraham as the female lead.

While details about Rane's role in Force 3 are currently under wraps, there is speculation that he may play either a negative lead or an ally to John Abraham's character. It is also unclear whether Harshvardhan is taking over the franchise lead role entirely or whether John's character will feature as a mentor figure training Harsh's character as the new cop in the story.

Harshvardhan Rane's journey in Bollywood has been one of perseverance and hard work. Before making his mark in the industry, he took on various jobs to make ends meet, including working as a delivery boy and carpenter. His rise to fame came after his 2016 film Sanam Teri Kasam gained renewed popularity.

With Force 3, Rane is poised to take on a new challenge, bringing his unique intensity and talent to the action genre. His collaboration with John Abraham is highly anticipated, and fans are eager to see what he brings to the popular franchise.
