Amy Hart, the "Love Island UK" alum, has joyfully announced that she is expecting her second child with her husband, Sam Rason. This announcement comes after what Hart described as two "heartbreaking" miscarriages in the past year.
The 31-year-old reality star shared the news via an emotional Instagram video on Sunday, November 9, 2025, which featured moments of the couple and their two-year-old son, Stanley, enjoying time together at a pumpkin patch. Hart's growing baby bump was visible beneath a brown knit dress and tan coat.
In her Instagram caption, Hart expressed her excitement while also acknowledging the difficult journey she and Rason have faced. "Sam & I are over-the-moon to share…we're expecting again ❤️," she wrote, adding, "This time the journey has been longer. After two heartbreaking miscarriages in the last year, we're both very excited, yet the anxiety and nerves are hard to settle". She explained that the couple waited to share the news due to these anxieties, but her baby bump had become "impossible to hide," and Stanley had been enthusiastically telling everyone, "Mummy has a baby in her tummy!". He also believes he has a baby in his tummy, according to Hart.
Rason also shared a touching message on Instagram, expressing his excitement about their growing family. "I can't wait for our family to grow again," he wrote. "It definitely has been an anxious journey for us both over the last 10 months and I still feel it each day that passes. I love being a father and watching you grow as a mother. And to see Stanley become a big brother will be a special experience. Love you millions".
Hart and Rason tied the knot in Spain in September 2024 and are now residents of West Sussex. Hart rose to fame on season 5 of "Love Island UK" in 2019. She left the show early after her relationship with Curtis Pritchard ended.
In April 2025, Hart spoke about the fertility treatments she was undergoing to conceive again. She had mentioned wanting to expand her family and that they were actively trying for another baby. She noted it hadn't been as straightforward as it was when conceiving Stanley.
Hart also revealed earlier this year that she was trying intermittent fasting to lose weight, as she felt her BMI was higher than recommended for optimal pregnancy.
The couple is looking forward to celebrating Christmas with Stanley this year, with the anticipation of a new family chapter beginning in 2026.
