Mumbai, Nov 25, 2025 - Following the death of veteran actor Dharmendra on November 24, Bollywood stars have been visiting the Deol residence to offer their condolences. Among the latest to pay their respects were Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who were seen arriving together at Dharmendra's Mumbai residence on Tuesday.
The couple, dressed in traditional attire, were seen speaking with family members, honoring Dharmendra's contributions to Indian cinema. Their visit underscores the deep affection and respect the film fraternity held for the legendary actor, whose career spanned over six decades.
Dharmendra, fondly known as Bollywood's 'He-Man', passed away at the age of 89 due to age-related illness. His last rites were conducted at the Vile Parle crematorium on Monday, with numerous celebrities in attendance, including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh.
Tributes have poured in from across the nation, with President of India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressing their condolences. PM Modi acknowledged Dharmendra's death as "the end of an era in Indian cinema," highlighting his iconic status and his ability to strike a chord with audiences through his diverse roles.
On Tuesday morning, Sunny Deol's son, Karan Deol, was seen collecting the ashes of the late actor at the Vile Parle crematorium. Dharmendra is survived by his first wife, Prakash Kaur, and their children Sunny, Bobby, Vijeta, and Ajita Deol, as well as Hema Malini and their daughters, Esha and Ahana Deol.
Many other Bollywood personalities, including Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Farah Khan and Ananya Panday, have also visited the Deol residence to offer their condolences. Actress Mahima Chaudhry shared a picture with Dharmendra and her mother, revealing that he was her mother's "biggest crush".
Alia Bhatt, who worked with Dharmendra in Karan Johar's "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani," shared a heartfelt tribute on her Instagram story, "A legend who lit up every frame… and every heart. You will be missed, Dharam ji".
Actor Jaideep Ahlawat, who also worked with Dharmendra on the upcoming movie "Ikkis," shared a touching note, expressing his gratitude for the love he received from the veteran actor. "There's nothing I can say. Just this much: the love you gave me in those few days, I will remember that for the rest of my life, sir. You will be missed a lot," Ahlawat wrote.
