A day after the passing of veteran actor Dharmendra at the age of 89, prominent Bollywood figures, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Ananya Panday, and Abhay Deol, were seen arriving at his residence in Juhu to offer their condolences to the bereaved family. Dharmendra passed away on Monday, weeks before his 90th birthday, after a prolonged illness.

The lanes leading to the actor's residence, usually bustling, wore a somber look as the industry mourned the loss of the legendary actor. Media presence had been significant in recent weeks, leading the family to request privacy and respect. Private security personnel were stationed outside the house as celebrities arrived to pay their respects to the Deol family.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were among the first to arrive, expressing their support to the family. Alia Bhatt, who shared screen space with Dharmendra in Karan Johar's "Rocky Rani Kii Prem Kahani," posted a heartfelt message on social media, calling him "a legend who lit up every frame… and every heart". Ajay Devgn also visited the residence to offer his condolences.

Other celebrities spotted at the Deol residence included Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Farah Khan, Ananya Panday, Bhavna Panday, Chunky Panday, Maheep Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Anu Malik, Kunal Kapoor and Abbas-Mustan. Abhay Deol, Dharmendra's nephew, was also present, offering support to his cousins.

The Deol family had previously refuted false reports of Dharmendra's death on November 11. The actor had been in and out of the hospital due to his illness and was discharged on November 12 to continue his treatment at home.

Dharmendra's passing has triggered an outpouring of grief from fans and colleagues alike. Many have shared anecdotes about his kindness and affable personality, celebrating his remarkable six-decade career in the film industry. Born Dharam Singh Deol in Punjab in 1935, Dharmendra appeared in over 300 films, including classics like "Sholay," "Chupke Chupke," and "Seeta Aur Geeta". He was last seen in "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya".
