Actors-turned-politicians Kangana Ranaut and Chirag Paswan were seen together at the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting held on Tuesday. A video of their interaction has gone viral on social media. This isn't the first time the two have garnered attention together; previous encounters have also sparked considerable buzz online.
Ranaut, now a BJP MP, and Paswan, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief and Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, share a history in Bollywood. They co-starred in the 2011 film "Mile Na Mile Hum". While Ranaut continued her acting career, Paswan transitioned to politics.
At the NDA parliamentary meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the MPs, discussing the general budget and emphasizing the importance of their role in communicating government policies to every village and district. He also spoke about India's trade deals with the EU and the US, recognizing them as beneficial for Indian manufacturers, exporters, and entrepreneurs. According to Chirag Paswan, the Prime Minister highlighted that the trade agreement with the United States was the result of sustained patience.
Videos and images circulating online captured the friendly exchange between Ranaut and Paswan. Earlier, Chirag Paswan had expressed his anticipation to meet Kangana Ranaut, acknowledging their good relationship and praising her articulate voice.
Kangana Ranaut has a Tamil film opposite R Madhavan, and also a film titled Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata in her kitty. The shooting of Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata started last month.
The NDA parliamentary party meeting saw participation from MPs belonging to BJP, TDP, JD(U), LJP (R), Shiv Sena, JD(S) and other constituents of the NDA.
