Fans can watch it on KBS2 every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 PM KST. For international viewers, "Last Summer" is available on OTT platforms such as Viki and Wavve, with Netflix carrying it in select regions. The series consists of 12 episodes, which will air over six weeks, concluding on December 7, 2025.

"Last Summer" reunites Lee Jae Wook and Choi Sung Eun in a story of rekindled emotions and second chances. The drama is set in Patan Village and centers around Song Ha Kyung, a civil servant longing to escape her small-town fate. Her life takes an unexpected turn when a past she thought she had left behind resurfaces. Lee Jae Wook takes on a dual role as the twins Baek Do Ha and Baek Do Young, who have lived apart since their parents' divorce. Do Ha lives in the United States and returns to South Korea every summer for 21 days to spend time with his older brother and father.

The story begins with Song Ha Kyung and Baek Do Ha, childhood friends who grow up together, their bond seemingly unbreakable until a tragic accident drives them apart. Years later, they are brought back into each other's lives due to a legal dispute over a duplex named Peanut House. Forced to live under the same roof, the tension between them reignites old feelings. Do Ha, now a talented architect, harbors a painful secret, living under his twin brother's identity following the life-altering incident.

Ha Kyung, now a civil servant, finds it difficult to forgive Do Ha as old emotions resurface. The series explores themes of love, guilt, and the possibility of second chances, capturing the essence of forgiveness and emotional healing. Lee Jae Wook describes the drama as a story of "time, seasons, and people growing together," while Choi Sung Eun aims to bring depth to Ha Kyung's character.

The series is directed by Min Yeon-hong and written by Jeon Yoo-ri. Besides Lee Jae Wook and Choi Sung Eun, the cast includes Kim Gun Woo as Seo Soo Hyuk, an appellate lawyer, and Kwon Ah Reum.

"Last Summer" promises to be an emotional K-drama with its gentle pacing, warm visuals, and layered storytelling. The drama explores themes of first love, loss, and self-discovery, all wrapped within the memories of a single summer.
