The latest drama involves Awez Darbar, a former Bigg Boss 19 contestant, who has publicly accused Amaal Mallik of spreading falsehoods about his connection with fellow housemate, Malti Chahar.
The conflict began during an episode where Amaal Mallik and Malti Chahar were engaged in a heated argument regarding their past relationship. According to reports, Amaal claimed that he and Malti had only met briefly for about five minutes. This claim was quickly refuted by Malti, who stated that Amaal had played her four songs during their meeting. Tanya Mittal added fuel to the fire by saying, "Ek baar mila hai, 5 minute bas," which translates to "They've only met once for five minutes". Malti countered by questioning, "Bhai, 4 gaane sunaye usne mujhe milke, 5 minute?", meaning "Brother, he played four songs for me when we met — was that five minutes?".
Adding another layer to the controversy, Awez Darbar has now entered the fray, accusing Amaal Mallik of lying about him as well. Awez took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice his displeasure, stating that Amaal wasn't just twisting words but also lying about him. He further alleged that Amaal is portraying a false narrative about his relationship with Malti, claiming they barely know each other when, in reality, they have a pre-existing connection. Awez emphasized that Amaal is "lying and playing a double game".
Awez didn't stop there; he also criticized the reactions of fellow contestants Shehbaz and Neelam, suggesting a double standard in their behavior towards Amaal. He pointed out that they seem hesitant to confront Amaal, remaining silent in his presence.
Malti also challenged Amaal's statements, asking if she should reveal everything about their connection, even stating that her father is aware of when and how they met. She questioned how Amaal could lie on camera, suggesting she could prove his statements wrong in a matter of minutes. She ended the conversation by exclaiming, "Camera mein jhoot bol raha hai bewakoof!" which means "He's lying on camera, fool!".
This isn't the first time Amaal Mallik has been embroiled in controversy on Bigg Boss 19. Previously, he made comments about Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar, claiming they only support him for professional gain. He alleged that they receive a significant amount of work and money through him but are hesitant to take a stand in the house.
