Janhvi Kapoor Reacts to Varun Dhawan's Border 2 First Look: Find Out Her Thoughts and Feelings!

The first look of Varun Dhawan from the highly anticipated war drama Border 2 has been revealed, and the response is overwhelmingly positive, including a reaction from Janhvi Kapoor. The poster, launched on Wednesday, November 5, coinciding with Guru Nanak Jayanti, shows Dhawan in a never-before-seen avatar, clad in an army uniform, holding a rifle, and marching through a war-torn battlefield.

The unveiling has generated considerable buzz among fans and Bollywood celebrities alike. Janhvi Kapoor, who recently starred alongside Varun Dhawan in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, showed her support by dropping fire emojis on the poster. Other celebrities, including Karan Johar, also shared their appreciation. Fans expressed their excitement with comments like "Goosebumps," "Can't waitttt," and "So good".

Border 2, directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J. P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, is a sequel to the 1997 blockbuster Border. The film features an ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The movie is scheduled for release on January 23, 2026, aligning with the Republic Day weekend.

Varun Dhawan is reportedly playing Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya, a Param Vir Chakra awardee known for his bravery during the 1971 war. The film, like its predecessor, will be based on the events of the 1971 India-Pakistan war but will depict different battles. Border 2 aims to capture the valor and heroism of the armed forces and evoke the same patriotic fervor as the original.

Janhvi Kapoor has several projects in the pipeline. She was recently seen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Additionally, her upcoming films include Homebound, Param Sundari, and Takht. She is also set to appear in the Telugu films The Paradise and Peddi. In Peddi, Janhvi will be seen playing Achiyyamma, a character with a "firebrand attitude". The film is scheduled for a global release on March 27, 2026.

The release of Varun Dhawan's first look has heightened anticipation for Border 2, with the film poised to be a major cinematic event in 2026.
