Mumbai, November 7, 2025 – Television actress Mahhi Vij has been hospitalized in Mumbai due to a severe viral infection, accompanied by high fever and extreme weakness. News of her hospitalization emerged on Thursday, with her team sharing a health update on Instagram, revealing that doctors are conducting several tests to determine the exact cause of her illness.
The Instagram post featured a picture of Vij resting in a hospital bed. The caption stated, "@mahhivij has been admitted to the hospital right now owing to high fever". Her publicist, Avantika Sinha, confirmed the news, stating, "Yes, she has high fever and extreme weakness and has just been admitted to the hospital. The doctor will run tests now. Nothing beyond this can be confirmed just yet. She is stable however".
Prior to her hospitalization, Vij had shared Instagram Stories indicating that she was battling a viral infection. One post showed various medicines and supplements, expressing gratitude to her family and friends for their support.
