The internet is currently buzzing with a spat involving singer Rahul Vaidya and fans of cricketer Virat Kohli, sparked by a series of social media posts. The incident began when Virat Kohli inadvertently liked a photo of actress Avneet Kaur on Instagram, a post that quickly went viral. Kohli clarified the situation, attributing the like to an Instagram algorithm glitch while clearing his feed and stating there was no intentionality behind it.

Rahul Vaidya, known for his humorous takes on trending topics, jumped into the fray with a video on his Instagram, suggesting that the algorithm might similarly "like" photos on his account without his knowledge. He playfully warned, "From now on, Instagram might like a lot of girls' photos for me. So, ladies, please don't do PR around it. It's Instagram's fault, not mine!".

The situation escalated when Rahul claimed that Virat Kohli had blocked him on Instagram. Instead of taking offense, Rahul turned it into another joke, proposing that the algorithm might have been responsible for the block as well. He quipped, "I think Virat didn't block me. It must be the algorithm again. Maybe Instagram said, 'Virat, don't worry, I'll block Rahul for you!'".

However, the humor didn't sit well with some of Virat Kohli's fans, who responded by trolling Rahul Vaidya online. The situation worsened when the trolls extended their attacks to Rahul's wife, Disha Parmar, and his sister, Shruti, which prompted a strong reaction from the singer. Expressing his frustration, Rahul lashed out at the trolls, calling them "jokers" and "2 kaudi ke jokers" for involving his family in the dispute. He stated that while he was fine with personal attacks, dragging his family into the matter was unacceptable.

In an interview, Rahul expressed his disappointment, stating he was a fan of Kohli the cricketer but not of Kohli "as a human being". He also revealed his confusion as to why he was blocked by the cricketer in the first place. Despite the online drama, Rahul maintained that his initial video was intended as a harmless joke and not as a personal attack on Virat Kohli.
