"Jurassic World Rebirth," starring Scarlett Johansson, has roared into Indian cinemas, achieving impressive box office numbers during its opening weekend. The film, directed by Gareth Edwards, has grossed an estimated ₹38.25 crore net in India over its first three days. Including 3D charges, the collection is expected to be ₹38.75 crore. The film's success marks a strong start for the seventh installment in the "Jurassic Park" franchise.

The film's opening day on Friday, July 4, saw earnings of ₹9 crore, more than double that of the Bollywood release "Metro… In Dino" on the same day. The momentum continued on Saturday, with "Jurassic World Rebirth" collecting ₹13.5 crore, again significantly higher than "Metro… In Dino". Sunday's earnings reached ₹15.75 crore, pushing the total opening weekend collection to ₹38.25 crore. According to early estimates, on Sunday the movie earned ₹7.81 crores, bringing the total to ₹30.31 crore.

The strong performance of "Jurassic World Rebirth" in India has surpassed the opening weekend figures of its predecessor, "Jurassic World: Dominion," which grossed ₹44 crore. The current gross collection for "Jurassic World Rebirth" stands at approximately ₹47 crore (USD 5.5 million). The film has performed well across different versions, with the English version leading at ₹18.5 crore, followed by the Hindi dubbed version at ₹13.5 crore. The Tamil and Telugu versions contributed a combined ₹6.2 crore to the total.

Globally, "Jurassic World Rebirth" has also made a significant impact, earning $318.3 million in its first five days. This includes $147 million in North America and $171 million overseas from 82 markets. The film's global success marks the biggest worldwide opening weekend of 2025 for a non-Chinese title and the third-biggest opening in the "Jurassic World" franchise. The largest international market for the film was China, with $41.5 million.

The film has received mixed to positive reviews from audiences, which could influence its performance in the coming weekdays. Despite the competition from other films, "Jurassic World Rebirth" has seen a spike in showcasing due to public demand. The film is expected to maintain a steady performance during the weekdays and is projected to surpass the ₹60 crore mark in India, which was the lifetime collection of the previous installment.

"Jurassic World Rebirth" stars Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Ed Skrein, and Luna Blaise in key roles.
