A complaint was filed alleging that the film disrespected the armed forces by depicting a mentally challenged person being allowed to join the Army and fight in the Kargil War. The complaint argued that this depiction demoralized and defamed the Indian Army, as it is a well-known fact that the best and rigorously trained personnel were sent to fight the Kargil War.
