In a surprising revelation, it has come to light that Noor Ul Haq Kaskar, also known as Noora, the brother of notorious underworld figure Dawood Ibrahim, secretly penned lyrics for Bollywood songs. While Dawood Ibrahim's name is often associated with crime and terror, his brother Noora harbored a passion for poetry and songwriting, managing to leave his mark on the Hindi film industry.

Noora, who passed away in 2009, was known within Mumbai police circles as an underworld figure with a penchant for poetry. Despite his connections to the criminal world, he harbored aspirations of being a lyricist. While he assisted his brother Anees in matters related to the Bollywood film industry from the Middle East in 1989, he also pursued his own creative interests.

Among the songs penned by Noora is "Tumse Jo Dekhte Hi," featured in the 1991 film "Patthar Ke Phool," starring Salman Khan and Raveena Tandon. The song, performed by S.P. Balasubrahmanyam and Lata Mangeshkar, became quite popular. He also wrote "Choom Loon Honth Tere Dil Ki Yahi Khwahish Hai,” performed by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik in the Rishi Kapoor-starrer Shreemaan Aashique.

Dawood Ibrahim's D-Company has long been linked to Bollywood, with reports of the syndicate financing films in the 1980s and 1990s. The underworld's influence on the film industry has been a topic of discussion for years, with some celebrities allegedly dancing to the tunes of the "D" family.

Noora's involvement in Bollywood adds another layer to the complex relationship between the underworld and the film industry. While his brothers were known for their criminal activities, Noora sought to express himself through his poetry and songwriting. His contributions to Bollywood, though made secretly, showcase a different side of the Ibrahim family and their connection to the world of entertainment.
