The relationship between Zeenat Aman and Feroz Khan, two prominent figures in Bollywood, has recently resurfaced in public memory, sparked by Zeenat Aman's reflections on her interactions with the late actor and director. While reports suggest a fiery exchange in the past, their professional collaboration ultimately led to a celebrated film and a lasting impact on Zeenat Aman's approach to her work.
According to Zeenat Aman, their relationship had a "rocky start". In the 1970s, as her career was gaining momentum, Feroz Khan offered her a role in one of his productions. However, she declined the offer because it was a secondary part. Zeenat Aman recalls that Feroz Khan reacted with anger and "let out a stream of expletives" during their phone conversation.
Despite this initial conflict, fate intervened, and Zeenat Aman was later offered the lead role in Feroz Khan's film "Qurbani". Appreciating the significance of the role, she accepted, marking the beginning of a professional journey that would leave a lasting impression.
Zeenat Aman has acknowledged Feroz Khan's influence on her work ethic and professionalism. She recounted an incident where she arrived late on set after a night out. Instead of scolding her, Feroz Khan calmly informed her that she would be responsible for compensating the crew for the delay. True to his word, he deducted the cost of the delay from her pay. She described him as "suave, charming, and polished". Despite their rocky beginning, "Qurbani" became one of Zeenat Aman's favorite projects.
Feroz Khan's son, Fardeen Khan, responded to Zeenat Aman's anecdote, stating that his father would have "loved" the post and "laughed out loud". He humorously added that even family members were not spared from Feroz Khan's strictness, receiving only a "standard family discount of 25%".
Separately, Zeenat Aman's past relationship with Sanjay Khan has also been a subject of public discussion, with reports alleging physical and domestic abuse. Sanjay Khan has denied these accusations, claiming they were a "PR attack" against him. He also addressed the accusation that he injured her eye, stating it was "hereditary". Zeenat Aman has, in the past, spoken about experiencing physical abuse and violence, but has not publicly named her attacker.
