The 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards took place on July 18, 2025, at the Paradise City Hotel in Incheon, South Korea, celebrating the best in South Korean streaming content. The awards, organized by Sports Chosun, recognize excellence in K-dramas and variety shows produced by streaming platforms. The ceremony was hosted by Jun Hyun Moo and YoonA for the fourth consecutive year.

Netflix's When Life Gives You Tangerines emerged as the night's biggest winner, taking home the Grand Prize (Daesang). The series, which stars IU and Park Bo-gum, also won Best Actress for IU and Best Supporting Actress for Yeom Hye-ran. The series is a slice-of-life story that follows the characters from their childhood friendship on Jeju Island and for decades after.

IU, also known as Lee Ji Eun, received the Best Actress award for her performance in When Life Gives You Tangerines. In her acceptance speech, IU expressed her gratitude and called her role in the drama "the greatest pride" of her life. She also thanked the writer, director, and all the staff. Fans took to social media to express their support and joy over IU's win. In addition to her Best Actress award, IU also received the Popularity Star Award.

Ju Ji-Hoon won Best Actor for his role in The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call. He acknowledged the difficulty of bringing a comic book to life and thanked everyone who helped make it realistic, especially Director Lee Do Yoon. The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call also won Best Drama. Director Lee Do Yoon credited Ju Ji Hoon, saying he "stood as a solid pillar" whenever he lost his way on set.

Other notable winners include:

  • Best Supporting Actor: Lee Kwang Soo (Karma)
  • Best New Actor: Choo Young Woo (The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call)
  • Best New Actress: Kim Min Ha (Way Back Love)
  • Best Variety Show: Culinary Class Wars
  • Best Male Entertainer: Kian84 (Kian's Bizarre B&B)
  • Best Female Entertainer: Lee Soo Ji (SNL Korea)
  • OST Popularity Award: TXT's Yeonjun (Cinderella at 2 AM)
  • Popularity Award: Park Bo Gum, Hyeri, Lee Jun Hyuk, and IU

There was a minor mix-up when Lee Jun Young mistakenly went on stage to accept the Popularity Award due to a name confusion. Lee Jun Hyuk was the actual winner, and Lee Jun Young ran down to give him the trophy after realizing the mistake.

The Blue Dragon Series Awards consider original dramas and variety shows produced and invested in by streaming services offered in Korea, including Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, and others. Nominees are selected through online voting, evaluations by Sports Chosun entertainment news reporters, and industry expert surveys.
