Naseeruddin Shah is set to portray J.R.D. Tata in the upcoming web series "Made in India – A Titan Story". The series will chronicle the journey of Titan, from its inception in 1984 to becoming one of India's most successful consumer brands. Amazon MX Player released the first look of Naseeruddin Shah as J.R.D. Tata on JRD Tata's 121st birth anniversary.

"Made in India – A Titan Story" is a six-part series. It is adapted from Vinay Kamath's book, "Titan: Inside India's Most Successful Consumer Brand". The series is directed by Robbie Grewal, produced by Almighty Motion Picture and T-Series Films, and written by Karan Vyas. The series is set to premiere on Amazon MX Player in 2025.

The series is set in the 1980s and revolves around Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata and Xerxes Desai. Xerxes Desai was the first managing director of Titan Company and played a key role in its founding. Jim Sarbh will be portraying Xerxes Desai. The show will depict how these two men collaborated during challenging times to build an empire with their revolutionary products. The series will highlight pivotal moments that shaped Titan's evolution. It will offer viewers a rare inside look at the forces that helped create this iconic brand.

The series will showcase how the consumer watchmaking brand overcame initial challenges to achieve entrepreneurial success. The screenplay depicts important moments in Indian watchmaking history, including the creation of the world's thinnest watch and Titan's rise to fame.
