Sonam Kapoor Ahuja celebrated her second baby shower with an intimate and star-studded "godh bharai" ceremony at her Mumbai residence on Sunday, February 8, 2026. The actress, who is expecting her second child with husband Anand Ahuja, was surrounded by close family and friends from Bollywood.

The Kapoor household was transformed into a floral sanctuary for the occasion. Lavish floral arrangements and whimsical hanging paper birds created a warm and ethereal tone for the traditional puja ceremony.

Sonam radiated a distinct maternity glow as she greeted her guests, including her husband Anand Ahuja, father Anil Kapoor, cousins Arjun, Khushi, and Anshula Kapoor, and B-town friends Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shabana Azmi. Anshula Kapoor shared a glimpse of the ceremony on social media, capturing Sonam and Anand performing the baby shower 'pooja'. The highlight of the afternoon was Sonam's custom-designed lime green lehenga. The ensemble, crafted from a fluid, lightweight fabric, featured delicate pastel floral embroidery scattered across the skirt, paired with a matching embroidered choli. Instead of a traditional dupatta, Sonam opted for a floor-length cape styled in a relaxed pallu drape, offering ease of movement while adding a contemporary silhouette. The high-waisted lehenga was designed to cradle and highlight her baby bump.

Sonam accessorized her look with heavy gold jewellery, including a statement necklace, matching earrings, stacked bangles, and rings. She wore her hair in a sleek bun, paired with a small red bindi and a striking red lip.
