Jolly LLB 3 Gets U/A Certification: CBFC Cuts Profanity and Blurs Alcohol Brand, Akshay Kumar Starrer.

The upcoming courtroom comedy-drama Jolly LLB 3, starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a U/A rating. The film is scheduled to be released on September 19, 2025.

The CBFC has requested a few minor modifications to Jolly LLB 3. These changes do not affect the film's main story. * The CBFC asked for the removal of the word "f****r" wherever it was used. * A scene showing cops assaulting an old man was modified to tone down the violence. * An alcohol brand was blurred. * A logo was modified. * A dialogue in the second half was replaced.

Runtime

The final approved runtime of the film is 157.16 minutes (2 hours, 37 minutes, and 16 seconds). This makes it the longest film in the Jolly LLB franchise. Jolly LLB 2 had a runtime of 137 minutes, and Jolly LLB had a runtime of 128 minutes.

Subhash Kapoor has directed Jolly LLB 3. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, and Saurabh Shukla. Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao are also reprising their roles from the first and second films, respectively. The film also features Annu Kapoor, Seema Biswas, Gajraj Rao and Ram Kapoor.

A petition was filed in the Gujarat High Court seeking a ban on the teaser, alleging it insults judges and court dignity. The petitioner said the film makes court proceedings look funny and tries to hurt the dignity of the court. The Gujarat High Court said the CBFC should look at the petitioner's arguments and tell when it will take a decision. The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court has dismissed a plea seeking ban on release of movie Jolly LL.B 3, holding that its trailer does not contain any objectionable content against lawyers.
