"Love In Vietnam," directed by Rajesh Mapuskar and produced by Omung Kumar, is a cross-cultural romantic drama inspired by the novel "Madonna in a Fur Coat". The film stars Avneet Kaur alongside Shantanu Maheshwari and Vietnamese actress Kha Ngan. It was released in September 2025 and has been praised for its heartfelt performances and on-screen chemistry.
Avneet shared a heartwarming behind-the-scenes picture on social media, where she is seen side-hugging Farida Jalal. During the trailer launch of "Love in Vietnam," Avneet became emotional while talking about working with Farida Jalal. She admitted to having grown up watching Farida Jalal's films and feeling overwhelmed when she saw her on set for the first time. Avneet said, "Since childhood, I have seen ma'am (Farida Jalal) on screen, and when I saw her for the first time during the shoot, I got a little emotional as I have cried watching most of her films". She also thanked director Raj Sir for giving her the chance to work with Farida Jalal, calling her "very sweet" and expressing how lucky she felt to share screen space with her.
